REVIEW: “Wicked Intentions” by J.T. Geissinger

The star of this book’s the incredibly rapid fire witty banter between bouts of incendiary Hate Sex.  “Wicked Intentions” features my favorite Hero and Heroine of the Wicked Games series.  Ryan’s wonderfully good natured and sweet; a golden Good Ol’ Boy but an observant Alpha wolf in disguise.  Mariana’s a calculating and perceptive international jewel thief with a fabulously rich and complex backstory.  Mariana has an extreme temper when it comes to Ryan and his cocky and Golden Boy American ways.  It’s epically frustrating that Ryan sees through Mariana’s every lie and misdirection and easily finds her whenever she disappears.  J.T. Geissinger brings a spectacular “something” to the couple’s magical at first sight chemistry.  Particularly when Mariana’s barely restraining the urge to stab Ryan in the neck while he giddily enjoys their “Hate Sex”.  The Romantic Thriller storyline is riveting and twisty with a seemingly unbeatable bad guy.

J.T. Geissinger kills it with fabulous dialog, amazing chemistry, and blazing hot sex between this charming and engaging main characters.  Ryan McLean has become one of my favorite Romantic Heroes in Contemporary Romance right now.  He’s the perfect balance of badass and sweet beautiful heart.  The bad guy, Capo, is complex but easily so in that he’s pure evil.  He seemingly has all of the power and there’s no way to truly get the upper hand.  For Mariana there’s no way to get out from under his reign of terror.  Mariana’s mentor and surrogate father-figure is dryly amusing, caring and at the same time he has a million secrets.  “Wicked Intentions” brings security beast Conner, his new wife and hacker deluxe Tabby back.  Happily they bring big and bold food blogger Darcy, her pint-sized “Love Schnitzel” Kia and teenage genius Juanita with them.  I’m addicted to this Wicked Games series.

I’m giving “Wicked Intentions” 5 Lightning Bolts and a Storm Warning.
