REVIEW: “Blue Balls” by RC Boldt

“Blue Balls” is a wonderfully entertaining Romantic Comedy with charming characters and an intriguing storyline.  RC Boldt follows up her novel “Clam Jam” with this clever, sweet, and sexy romance.  A series of sexual comedy of errors resulting in unfulfilled sexual satisfaction via intercourse.  It even takes a while to get satisfied via other methods.  All with witty, off-beat, and funky humor in place.  The book’s POV alternates between the Hero and Heroine; both have hilarious internal dialogs since they “talk” to the reader.  Jack’s a deep-down geek, sweet, funny, and a Romantic at heart.  Sarah has a hard outer shell but most, and she herself, don’t see that she’s gooey on the inside.  The courtship and romance between Sarah and Jack is pure Fun.  These two cannot catch a sexual break; anything that can stop sex happens to them.  But their story is ultimately and beautifully, Friends to Lovers.

I’m giving “Blue Balls” 5 Lightning Bolts and a Storm Warning.
